The Laugh Factory in Hollywood says online votes from its Monday night competition have been counted and five finalists from Finland, France, Pakistan, Spain and United Arab Emirates have been chosen.
好萊塢的「笑工廠」表示，20日晚間比賽的線上投票已經完成計票，來自芬蘭、法國、巴基斯坦、西班牙與阿拉伯聯合大公國的五位決賽入圍者已經選出。
Their final showdown in this Olympics of comedy takes place Friday night at the Laugh Factory's sister club in Las Vegas.
這場喜劇奧林匹克的最後決戰，24日晚間將在笑工廠位於拉斯維加斯的姊妹俱樂部舉行。
The winner will be announced after online voting closes Monday.
確定的贏家將在31日的線上投票結束後宣布。
An alternate from Israel was selected and will take part if any of the finalists drop out.
如果上述的入圍者有人臨時退出，將由一位以色列的代表替補。
Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada combed comedy festivals around the world for dozens of contestants. Online voters previously narrowed the list to the 10 semifinalists.
笑工廠的負責人馬沙達從世界各地的喜劇表演中，挑選出幾十位參賽者，早先的線上票選活動已將複賽的入圍者縮減到10人。
Masada says he hopes the competition will show people around the world that if they can laugh together there is no need for war.
馬沙達說，他希望透過這項競賽告訴全世界，如果大家能一起歡笑，我們就不再需要戰爭。
He hopes to make it an annual event.
他希望這項競賽能成為每年舉辦的活動。
